To put it in a nutshell, the aim of the two courses is twofold: helping students
- grasp the basics of technical and professional English,
- gain confidence in their ability to use English spontaneously, especially when talking.
Project-based learning encourages the students to develop their autonomy and team work skills with the help of tool worksheets and grammar reminders. Role-playing games help the students speak in a friendly atmosphere and class debates often spring from the students’ press reviews.
Creativity is highly valued and individual feedback is given after each activity.
General and professional English: 30h/student (from Semester 1 to Semester 4),
English for the web: 20h/student (course available from S1 to S3).
